Meet Our Teachers
Meet The Amazing
Brittany Burke
Brittany is a mama of three little ones: Sawyer (8), Hensley (5) , and Archer (3). Together with her husband, Forrest, they moved to Westcliffe from the Front Range in 2022 to build their homestead and to welcome the opportunity to slow down, be more intentional, and to spend more time in nature doing things they love. You can find them daily outside with their dairy goats, dairy cow, chickens, ducks and garden, working on various projects around their homestead, and building, creating, or dreaming up something for the next project(s) on the homestead.
Children and families have been near and dear to Brittany’s heart long before becoming a mama. Brittany received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2011 from Loyola University Chicago and worked as a Child and Family Therapist working with clients in individual and group settings. Prior to that, in 2008, she became a certified yoga instructor and has always been extremely passionate about incorporating yoga, mindfulness, expressive therapies, and somatic work into her personal and professional practice. After becoming a mama, Brittany stepped back from her work as a therapist to embrace the gift of being stay at home mom. While family, homeschooling, and homesteading are the biggest blessings and main priorities, Brittany continues to teach yoga and offer somatic therapy work, and currently works part time as Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula.
Brittany loves nature and whole-heartedly believes there is so much to learn and many empowering life skills to acquire from nature- based learning. She is truly grateful and considers it such a joy to hold space for an enriching experience that welcomes curiosity, wonder, and exploration with open arms!

Meet Our Founder
Hi, I’m Mallory
I’m a Mom to three kiddos and 6th generation Coloradoan. As my children got older and I started thinking about homeschooling, I longed for a program that would help create community and a sense of sharing the responsibility for schooling. And when I couldn’t find one, I decided to make it!
The Launchpad Enrichment Program has been built from a genuine personal need and strong desire to connect with and serve other homsechooling families. As a working mom, it was important to me to find a way to fund this program that wouldn’t burden the families that participate. After doing a lot research and jumping through a few hoops, I secured the state funding to make this program possible. I am beyond grateful for all of our wonderful teachers, parents, kids, and community that are making this dream come true.
When I’m not playing in the woods with my kiddos I can be found running digital content for brands like Betty Crocker, making art, and gardening at our family’s off-grid homestead.
